The FONT TAG or ELEMENT has attributes that are added to give
it the characteristics you desire...
Everything typed in between these tags will have these characteristics....
They are as follows...
SIZE to set font size...-must be a number from 1-7
COLOR to set font color...-can be any RGB or COLOR name..
FACE to specify font face; here is list is used eg. FACE="Verdana, Helvetica, Arial" to account for different browsers...
Let's take a look at how they are added in...we will use the paragraph you are reading as an example...

Ok...stare at it awhile and notice...
There are two separate FONT TAGS....
one FONT TAG only contains the letter L....The other contains the rest of the typing.....
All we changed in the second tag was the SIZE ...the attributes remained the same from the previous tag...
Each attribute is separated by a space and the value is always in " ".....
YOU CAN MESS UP EASILY IN HTML by forgeting a quotation or a space....so be careful when typing...

All I can say is the possibilities are endless..
 There are more skilled tricks you can do to shadow your fonts...emboss your text....make it glow....etc....We will get to that later....You can still get very creative by knowing these three attributes and the fonts I have shown you....BUT experiment and have fun.... Notice how I always make the first letter of a paragraph bigger
....or change COLOR or size to emphasize a point....
That is the fun part about working on the web....There is no limit to your creativity....
The wonderful thing about the web is you can go around and take what you like....
Just by holding down the right button on your mouse allows you to save anything...Make sure it is not copyrighted...With any search engine you can type in ANIMATED GIFS....ICONS FOR WEB PAGES...BUTTONS FOR WEB PAGES.... It's amazing what comes up... TThe next section deals with text layout....
